Rudra is a highly active antimicrobial chemical compound whose chemical formula is 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol. Rudra is widely used as an bactericide and fungicide in agriculture applications. It is an ideal Bactericide to control bacterial leaf blight in paddy, citrus canker, block arm daises in wilt, and powdery mildew in grapes. It is used as an anti-infective, an antimicrobial, fungicide, germicide, bactericide, slimicide, and a plant preservative.
